Got these new sunglasses earlier this week...I'm afraid they might be a little too Mary-Kate & Ashley ...but what the hell, they were only $8 so I'll probably keep them.

Had the day off from work today and that was just a relief in every way possible...although I didn't get everything done that I intended, I did tend to a few crucial things (see post below for an example) but mostly it's just been nice not having to worry about any sort of deadline or dealing with people. Sometimes it's just all I can do to Deal. With. People.

It's sort of been that kind of a week.

Neglecting friends again (Hi Suzannah!) Bailing on plans (Sorry everyone!) Going to bed exhausted. Jeez...I can't even imagine having to fit classes into this equation...

Anyway, got the Mavericks-Pacers game on in the background -- a warm-up to tonight's King's game...(by the way, Brad Miller is my new King's crush...I know, I know...but I like that he's a pouty hot-head...) after that we'll head to Old I. That should be two haystacks of fun because the Haints are playing and it's the Hank Williams karaoke night. And no I'm not getting up to sing "I Saw the Light" .... unless I get really really drunk. I mean really drunk....and that hasn't happened for...oh....for a very, very long time.
